Bongo Loves the Bible is a collection of 3D-style GAMES designed to introduce, reinforce
and measure:
_ General Bible knowledge
- Order and types of books in the Bible
- Where in the Bible
- Who's who of major Bible characters
- How the Bible came to be
- Designed for home, church classroom and Confirmation use.
Students navigate Bongo through a 3-D jungle and cave terrain in a style of play familiar
to your Nintendo players. There are waterfalls, rolling rocks to be avoided, streams to
cross, canyons to jump, keys to find, "surf-mummies" and Bongo-eating plants to avoid.
Throughout each game landscape their are perils to be avoided and paths to follow. Bongo
read clues, answer questions, discovers his way through the terrain learning about the
Bible. In two of the games it's a good idea for Bongo to grab as many bananas as he can
--they'll come in handy with his slingshot if mummies or plants come after him. Both the
keyboard and mouse are used to navigate Bongo and sling bananas thus, two players can
easily play together.
Players can select Easy or Hard Mode at the beginning of each game. "Easy" Mode is best
for younger players, though their point totals will not be as high as those who play in
"Hard" mode.
Content is blended with gameplay making Bongo an appealing way to study & learn BASICS
about the Bible. The gameplay and scoring is designed to keep them coming back to improve
their memory and game scores. This is not a trivia game about the Bible. We have
identified four levels of core content every Christian young person should know. The game
rewards them for accuracy and speed. So even your most proficient (or beginning) students
will have something to strive for.
Games take 20-35 minutes to accomplish, depending on which game you select and how good
your students are at navigating and knowing the answers (if playing the Knowledge game).
Gameplay will also be faster or slower depending on the age of the student, whether
they've played it before, and whether they set the game to "easy" or "hard" mode. They'll
want ot play the games again to improve their score, and master the terrain challenges.
Bongo Knows the Bible~ is a four level Bible Knowledge game testing basic Bible content in
a fun 3-D game environment.
Bongo Needs the Bible~ is a game about the importance of reading the Bible, the benefits
of knowing God's word, and things which will help you learn and follow God's word.
Bongo's Books of the Bible~ is a game where students guide Bongo across treacherous
canyons by landing him on the correct books of the Old or New Testament -in order, while
avoiding falling rocks and nagging crows.
Bongo's Bible Background~ is a game in which students find and study information about
"how the Bible came to be" and complete a quiz.
Counting the four independent levels of Bongo Knows the Bible, and the choice of working
on either Old OR New Testament books, Bongo has a total of EIGHT GAMES.
TEACHERS: Bongo Loves the Bible is a good way to reinforce your student's basic Bible
knowledge, discover how much your students really know about the Bible, and give them a
tool to continually improve their mastery of that core set of content. Bongo's games have
scoreboards and various level's of achievement that will entice your students try again
and again to do better. Bongo can easily be part of your lesson, or part of your
before/after gameplay. Because Bongo is made with a 3-D Game Engine and plays like a
Nintendo-style game, Bongo is quite suitable for home or gameroom use too.
Bonus content: Throughout Bongo's games, scripture verses appear that illuminate, guide
and reinforce the importance of reading, knowing & following God's word. By the time your
kids are done playing Bongo's games, they know several of these key scriptures by heart.
Bongo gives your students a "score" based on speed and accuracy after each level. It's a
good test not only for your kids, but for your program's teaching objectives as well!
Students have full control over which level they will play. And there's plenty of fun game
features in each level to encourage the students to play the question sets again and again
mastering both content and the game.
One of Bongo's four games, Bongo Knows the Bible, puts forth a set of 80 Bible content
questions in four levels. They are 80 questions every young person should know the answer
to -especially if they have been going to Sunday School. The 80 questions were reviewed by
educators and pastors, and tested with real kids of varying ages. They are not trivia
questions. Each question AND potential answer has been carefully crafted to help your
students learn the material and give them help in figuring out the correct answer -even if
they can only remember part of the story.
You can also modify the questions in Wordpad if you like!

first started teaching with computers in Sunday School and has put that experience to use
in Bongo!

Recommended 500+ mhz, 64mb RAM, 16 mb videocard. Bongo's game engine can run in 8 mb of videoram at medium resolution which is automatically set by the game engine when it detects your videocard. For improved game performance, a 16mb videocard is recommended.
